A truly magnificent art nouveau Little Blue Church got its name to its sky-blue-and-white roof tiles and walls.
The church was built in the early 20th century and is dedicated to St. Elizabeth born in Bratislava – hence the official name ‘Saint Elizabeth’s church’. Her portrait can be seen above the church’s portal.
Apart from visiting the interior of the church, you can spot a few of the surrounding buildings that are built in the same style and fit the church and its area really nicely. On Saturdays, you might find yourself a witness to a wedding.
