Your faith will heal you! It is rarely as true as at this sacred place, where crowds are annually flowing and asking Mother of God for the blessing and forgiveness of their sins.
One of the oldest pilgrimage sites in and outside Slovakia dates from the 11th century and accumulates energy from thousands of the faithful filled with hope, that this magical place will help fulfill their prayers.
It is a place well suited for meditation and clearing your mind, regardless of ones relationship to faith.
On the hill in a nice forest area you’ll find a chapel, which was built with reference to Lourdes. While walking up the Calvary, you can admire scenes from the Bible.
Below the cave chapel you will find the Sacred Well. You can drink from it, because your faith will heal you.

PILGRIMAGE WALK FROM BRATISLAVA
Route: Bratislava. Kalvária, Železná studnička, Kačín, Mariánka. The walk can be managed at a leisurely pace in about 5 hours.
