Tambako
Bratislava ZOO in a pleasant scenery of Mlynska valley surrounded by deciduous forest, meadows and streams, accommodates 700 mammals, 200 birds and 40 reptiles. It lies on 96 hectares – if you want to see it all, you need more than one visit.
Very interesting feature is a renewed Primate Pavilion, which simulates natural wild environment.
ZOO Bratislava has a bob cat in its logogram. They bred little bob kittens here. You’ll also see white tigers, white lion, rhinos, giraffes, monkeys, zebras and many other animals.
ZOO’s important activity is saving and rehabilitation of injured and exhausted animals from the field.
